by Cape Gazette Magazine

October 16, 2003

Several Rehoboth Beach Autumn Jazz Festival shows, including 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. performances featuring Chuck Loeb, Kim Waters and Jeff Kashiwa at the Atlantic Sands Ballroom, have sold out. The annual Grand Jam at Sydney's on Sunday, Oct. 19 is also sold out. As of press time Wednesday, only six tickets remained for the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra at Cape Henlopen High School.

Now in its 14th year, the jazz festival brings an annual audience of more than 15,000 to the Cape Region to see regional and national performers. Returning for the third consecutive year and featured on the cover of Shore Living Magazine, Jazz Speak again promises to fill the venue. This versatile quartet creates music that draws its inspiration from longstanding jazz traditional and classic compositions.

Speaking of Sold Out Performances- Jazz Speak is featured at Tijuana Taxi on Friday and Saturday evenings with shows starting 8 and 10:30 pm.  This year they will perform selections from their recently released CD, “Jazz Speak Live” in a feature Saturday afternoon show from 2:00-3:30 pm with only a few tickets remaining.  A CD signing follows the show.
